About Dr. Raamya
Dr. Ashokbabu Raamya completed his dental degree at the Ragas Dental College and hospital in Chennai, India in 1994. He practised general dentistry for a period of five years before migrating to Canada. He has practised as a general dentist here in Ontario for over 15 years after successfully completing the National Dental Examining Board of Canada program in the year 2002. He continued his interest in temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) and orofacial pain at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester, New York, where he completed the two-year post-graduate TMD/Orofacial Pain residency program. Along with this, Dr. Raamya also earned a master's degree in the health professions education at the University of Rochester, New York.

His future interest is to join a dental faculty where he can educate dental students about temporomandibular disorders and orofacial pain.
